Bilheterias Brasil: John Carter supera todas as estreias e continua em primeiro lugar

A aventura da Disney seduz mais 233 mil espectadores, superando Guerra é Guerra! e Pequenos Espiões 4.

Disney may have admitted it will take a huge loss with John Carter: Between Two Worlds but at least in Brazil, the results are encouraging. In its second week view, competing with big premieres on Fox (War is War!) And Universal (Protecting the Enemy), the film managed to stay in first place. With over 233 000 viewers, the film has already surpassed the 700 000 tickets sold and income is approaching $ 9 million.

War is War! With Reese Witherspoon, was close behind, with 230,000 viewers. Considering that the film was shown at a much lower number of rooms to John Carter, the result of this romantic adventure can be considered a success. He had, indeed, the best average viewers per room among the twenty most-watched films (average 723 people per session). Thirdly, beating expectations, was a family adventure Spy Kids 4, with an audience of 124 thousand. Since the debut Protecting the Enemy, fourth, took rooms at 98 000 spectators in its first week of exhibition.

The other premieres, Shame (11), with only 41 copies, had the excellent average of 594 persons per room and 24 000 spectators. Project X - A Party Out Of Control (10) had a reasonable result, with 28 000 spectators and ticket sales of $ 332,000. Have Anderson Silva - Like Water (9), which debuted in 160 rooms, exceptional number for a documentary, disappointed and could not exceed 34 000 spectators. Habemus Papam (17), in fifteen rooms only won 10 thousand spectators and got the excellent average of 715 spectators per room.

Since last week, the only Brazilian film is between 20/1 Billi Pig (15), reaching the milestone of 229,000 viewers in its third week display.
